#184 closed defect (invalid)

first run of checkfs will give warning if ext2 file system is used"

Reported by: gerard@… Owned by: markh@…
Priority: highest Milestone:
Component: Book Version: CVS
Severity: normal Keywords:

Description

ext2fs_check_if_mount: No such file or directory while determining whether /dev/xxx is mounted.

This is normal, refers to missing /etc/mtab. But if we were to make /etc/mtab a link to /proc/mounts (see bug #183)

Looking at this comment, it seems that the problem will disappear if we resolve Bug #183 (see my mail to lfs-dev). Therefore, if I do fix 183, shall I kill this?

Will be fixed by bug #183 yes, invalidating it.
